Had an interview today. Feel I did quite well.
Had a fish tank in their front room and had a creative area like the IT industry has.
Well went to Midas on Thursday because the car sounded funny. Turned out that the rod bearings were going out. This would mean that the engine had to be replaced. That could cost $3000-$4000. We had been looking at SUVs anyway for quite awhile. Stella and I talked it over and decided that we wanted a Lincoln Navigator. We bought one on Friday. Here is our new car!
What a struggle for me on the last day! I continually got direction from my co manager all day, but I seemed to perform that with style. He took me to lunch and then I had to teach him how to terminate me. Was kind of an ironic end to my employment at Walmart. I didn’t even finish leave the store until after seven(I was scheduled til 4pm). Well, I never got out of there on time anyway and I got plenty of time to say good bye to everyone. Now to concentrate on everything that matters… Family and School.
This last week of inventory, looking for a job, interviews and the emotional impact of me leaving Wal-Mart actually has me behind in my studies. I have to catch up and concentrate more on everything now. This will be kinda challenging, but I think I should be OK.
